BMW USA has released details of the production version of the new BMW M3. This new model will be released in the U.S. in mid-2008 as a 2009 model year, but it will probably reach the European market earlier. More details after the jump.
 Outside, only two doors, trunk lid, windows, headlights and taillights have been inherited from a standard 3 Coupe E92. The rest are unique to the M3, which should have given the car a more aggressive stance, but somewhat larger, which is not as aggressive. Many noted that the new M3 looks too much like standard 3 Coupe, although most of the body panels are different. Telltale signs that the car is an M3 PowerDome on the cover, the two air intake openings on the sides and a plastic-fiber roof is clearly visible carbon, or PCP. Wheels are standard 18-inch alloys good, with an option to a larger 19-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood is a new 4.0-liter V8 that has already been explained in detail in a previous post. To summarize a bit, it makes 420HP and when the power peak at 8300 rounds before revving abit more all the way to 8400 rpm. He makes a couple of 400 nm is obtained from as low as 3000 rpm, which is incredibly low for such an engine revving high. 85% of peak torque remains available for a wide range of 6500 rpm. Driving dynamics can be controlled via MDrive, where you can set and retrieve the configuration of the engine control map, suspension, Servotronic steering and DSC set-up too. The suspension involves using special weight-optimized components, forged aluminum arms control track, and there are optional electronic control of damping (EDC), which has three different damping settings to choose from - normal, comfort and sport.

The interior panel indicators incorporates the classic warning variables Redline, which gradually increases to a maximum of 8400 rpm the engine warms up. To steer the car gripping a wheel BMW M leather, which also controls the house audio system, orders for mobile phone and MDrive button. For larger people, I suspect you will need, there is an option for special seats with adjustable backrest width to ensure a perfect fit in the seats comfortably.

The windshield was consciously surrounded by dark colors to help the development of the driver on the road in front of him. The interior is black leather used, and all fittings are dark colors, which creates a sporty interior ambience. Not that it's necessary if you can easily be reminded this is an M3 with a touch of the accelerator in brushed aluminum. Another option trimmer Palladium Silver, Bamboo Beige and red fox.
